Terms of service

Please read these terms carefully before using our platform.

01Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the 5Gringos platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent to use this platform. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

03User accounts

User responsibilities.

Not tolerated

  • Cheating, hacking or using unauthorized software
  • Toxic language, hate speech or threatening content
  • Spamming or advertising unrelated products and services
  • Sharing malicious links or malware
  • Impersonating others without authorization
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to platform systems

Violations of conduct rules may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your account.

05Intellectual property

All content, features and functionality of the 5Gringos platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, data compilations and software, are the property of 5Gringos or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these terms.

06User-generated content

You retain ownership of any content you post on the platform (including strategy guides, forum posts and team introductions), but by submitting content, you grant 5Gringos a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with operating the platform.

You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring its compliance with these terms and all applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our terms or community standards without prior notice.

07Tournament participation

Tournament registration. By registering for a tournament, you agree to:

  • Play according to the official game rules.
  • Respect opponents and follow sportsmanship guidelines.
  • Participate in good faith without attempting to manipulate outcomes.
  • Acknowledge that tournament results are final.

Prize pools. Prize distribution is determined by tournament format and rules. 5Gringos is not liable for any prize-related disputes.

Tournament integrity. Cheating, collusion or any attempt to undermine fair competition will result in immediate disqualification and potential account suspension.

08Third-party links

The platform may contain links to third-party websites (including game publishers, streaming platforms and social media). These links are provided as a convenience only. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites.

09Limitation of liability

5Gringos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid to use the platform (if any).

We do not guarantee specific results from tournament participation, skill improvement resources or community interactions.

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 5Gringos, its officers, agents, employees and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of another party's intellectual property.

11Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except for claims you cannot waive your right to a jury trial.

12Modifications to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, by email notification to registered users, or by posting a notice on the homepage.

Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13Disclaimer of warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE AGAINST ALL THREATS.
